About Me
I came to love writing in eighth grade, when a special teacher told me that he wanted to read my story to the class.  I was too embarrassed to let him do that, but he gave me the courage to believe in myself.  For years I just wrote in journals and corresponded via letters.  It was in my college writing courses that I realized how fun writing was.  One day, on a whim, I entered a short story writing contest.  I didn't win but did receive a personal letter from one of the judges that further encouraged me.

I consider myself to be a creative person.  In 1992 I earned an Associate's Degree in Dance and have danced professionally all over the world.  I love drawing and painting and have been active in community theater for years.  I've even dabbled in stand-up comedy for a few years!

Writing is my special treat to myself at the end of the workday.  My typical workweek is 60-80 hours, so it's not always easy to get time to write.  However, I believe that, if you want something badly enough, you will find a way to do it.

By day I am an official court reporter for Orange County, CA.  I once owned a cookie business and have been a landlord, dance instructor, and a professional model and actress.  You can see me in such movies as Chasing Sleep and Fallout Shelter.  I've also appeared in over 25 commercials and ads.

My hobbies include baking, gardening, running, tennis, exotic travel, and volunteering with my therapy dog.

Loving every minute of it.
